Following is my story, to go straight to the facts click here.

     Please allow me to introduce myself.

      I am Shannon Of Black Forest and I am in need of new humans to nurture and shelter. I am 50 X 30 X 2 levels  in my early teens, I was built in 1995. My ceilings are 8 feet to minimize cubic footage and reduce heating costs.   My acreage, my location and the views as seen through my Anderson double paned windows  are "To Die For!"  I am perched high above Colorado Springs on a quiet cul-de-sac close to town.  Technically I am a rancher on a full walk out basement, which I refer to as my lower lever. If I am sounding attractive please read on.
 
      I have a spacious downstairs family room, complete with a solid oak wet bar. I am proud of my 4 large bedrooms, they all hold much more then a crib.  I am equally proud of my 3 1/2 baths, kitchen with breakfast counter and walk in pantry, dining room, living room and laundry room.  I also have a 3 car garage with the third bay being oversized in it's entry height and length.  This bay will hold a 4 X 4 / 250 stretch pickup, an often overlooked but important feature. If you don't have such a vehicle you may some day and you will want to park it insde.
 
     I have two spacious bedrooms on each level.  Both bedrooms on my upper level contain private baths and are master suites. This sought after feature is ideal for an executive couple on opposing shifts, that pampered child or your Mother in law and is extremely rare in this price range. There is an upstairs half bath which keeps guests out of the private bathrooms.The two bedrooms on my lower level mirror one another and are connected by a double door.  This area is currently an office and guest room. For a telecommuter it could easily convert to a large office suite or remain as individual rooms by simply opening or closing the doors.  Across the hall from those two rooms is a five piece bath.      Outside I have a large redwood deck complete with a low maintenance 6 person hot tub.   My primary master bath has a sliding glass door at the hot tub,  please see the photo page. There is also an 8 ft. sliding glass door providing easy access to the great room. The rear deck provides gorgeous views of the high meadows and sunrises. The front porch provides a view of pikes peak and beautiful sunsets. It is a lovely spot for afternoon tea during the cooler months. I live on 5 beautiful acres in a covenant controlled equestrian oriented neighborhood.  My land is gradually sloped and lightly treed making for good pasture while providing much desired solar warmth. I am partially fenced.  I am very close to shopping, dining, schools (Kilmer elementary of district 38 is less than a mile away) and highways.  Please visit the area information page for more information.
